India Today SIMPLY, a city magazine published monthly by India Today Group in nine major metropolitan areas, is looking for aCorrespondent for its Gujarat regional magazine.
This is a people, trends and lifestyle magazine that has as its hub Ahmedabad, but covers Vadodara and other parts of Gujarat as well.
Location: Ahmedabad
Experience: 2-5 years with – and including – a lifestyle/features magazine or features/weekend section of a newspaper. (Experience of work in English language publications, please). We don't mind attitude, but it helps to back your attitude with talent and drive.
Job Profile: Good ideas, prompt execution, smart writing. You need to cover people, trends, places (new and buzzy); openings and happenings; travel. Think 'Time Out' for Ahmedabad and Gujarat. Think 'story' and 'content' instead of 'puff piece' and 'copy/paste from press release/ brochure'.
Remuneration: As per industry standards. But if you're good, we'll go the distance.
